Into Hibernation

The main survey season is over again for another year, with bats, reptiles and newts heading into hibernation soon.

The ecologists too will enter hibernation and live their lives in the office completing reports and drawings and doing that much needed filing!

There is still scope for them to be let out of the office to undertake surveys such as initial Phase 1 habitat surveys, wintering bird surveys, badger surveys, bat roost assessments and barn owl assessment and surveys. The winter is an important time to undertake initial assessments to scope any further surveys that may be required in the spring such as great crested newt, breeding bird and bat roost or activity surveys. The ecology team are able to undertake all of these surveys, so feel free to contact us should you require any further information.
